We all face challenges. Sometimes those challenges are within us, other times we are involved with the challenges others are faced with and sometimes it is just life that challenges us. Whatever your reason for seeking a counselor may be you need that person to be David Silvers.

I have worked with David Silvers for several years on a variety of topics and have been very pleased with all aspects of the counseling experience. That is not to say it has been easy, but he is very compassionate when dealing with difficult issues, even while being firm regarding honesty, accountability and progress toward goals. I have recieved help with managing depression, healing a marriage, repairing relationships, escaping addictions and recovering from childhood abuse. The healing process has not been quick or painless, but has progressed steadily to the point it has totally changed the direction of my life and broken generational patterns that have allowed my children to grow up in a much healthier environment than I ever had. God has used David as a tool in my life to lead me on this path of healing and wholeness and for that I will be eternally grateful to them both. I found out that it is never too late to change the direction of your life in such a way that brings personal growth, honor to God and joy to those around you. I would highly recommend David to anyone looking for a therapist with integrity, professionalism, dedication to his calling and a great insight into how to help a person reach deep down within themselves to find the person God intends for us to be.

I started seeing David over two years ago and I have never regretted it. My life got extremely unmanageable; my 15 year marriage was almost over and I was experiencing the results of untreated addiction. Working with David has provided me with hope for my future and I have seen that my worst liabilities have turned into my best assets. My marriage is the best that it has been in 15 years, total transparency. I have over 2 years of sobriety from my addiction. I owe it to god working thru David.

I started seeing David Silvers at the recommendation of a friend. In particular, I wanted to talk with someone who could give me more than just "worldly" advice. I needed wisdom, not cliches. David is a man who knows the Lord and is able to apply his vast training and his faith in a way that works extremely well for me. David uses a mixture of methods to help me including having me read, journal, practice new behaviors/throughts, and of course talking about issues. He has helped me gain clarity and direction. I asked him to be firm with me when I needed it and he was very gently firm and helped me see truths of which I was unaware. David has a way of keeping me focused on moving forward with my life and I have grown more in the time I have spent working with him than in any other time in my life. I particulary like the fact that we do not just rehash history, but that we create and build a healthy future for me and my family. David makes it easy to share as he does not judge, condemn or criticize me. Yet, he does not let me get away with foolish and unhealthy thinking or behaviors. I like the fact that he holds me accountable for my behavior and my thoughts. He makes addressing the changes I want/need to make a lot less daunting. I have recommended David to family and friends and highly recommend him to anyone needing a compassionate, caring, and knowledgeable therapist and life coach.
